Sleep In Italy service was first-class: very helpful, kind, and very quick in getting back to me by email. Will be definitely using them again.

What we liked best about our apartment (Rotonda) was the location, in the heart of Rome. We could go into the terrace and see the Pantheon and look down on Piazza Della Rotonda. Being so central we walked everywhere. There're plently of restaurants to choose from, shops and ice cream parlours. With so much choice it's easy to check out menus and choose a convenient place to eat or drink.

The best thing about the apartment was the location and the views. Also it had air con, absolutely necessary during the summer months.

Cons: the lady who showed us around the apartment didn't speak very good English and it was difficult to understand her, she showed us everything in a hurry, the air con in the sitting room was dripping, the toilet was small (horrible shower/bath!), not enough towels, the whole building is being restored and, although it wasn't noisy at all, it lacked safety measures. It's not a suitable flat for the elderly, ill people, or children.

However, as long as you can have a good night sleep and make breakfast in the morning, and you're central, that was all that mattered to us.
